About me
Lars has held his current role since early 2022 and is responsible for accelerating the digital transformation of R&ED and driving scientific innovation beyond the limits of human cognition through the purpose of DSI.
A long-time employee of Novo Nordisk, Lars has held a variety of leadership positions since 2000. During his tenure, he has developed and applied cutting-edge technology platforms throughout Novo Nordisk therapy areas, leading to the development of multiple marketed pharmaceutical products.
Mr. Iversen holds a M.Sc. in Pharmacy from the Royal Danish School of Pharmacy, a M.Sc. in Human Biology from the University of Copenhagen, and a PhD in Protein Crystallography from the University of York and University of Copenhagen. He is also a co-author of more than 20 peer-reviewed research papers, as well as an inventor on numerous international patent applications.
